Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced an ex gratia of Rs 25 lakh for the family of Debashish Biswal who was among the five Indian Army personnel killed in a terrorist attack on Thursday.
As many as five soldiers were killed and one was injured on Thursday after their vehicle was ambushed by unidentified terrorists and caught fire. Out of the five killed, four were residents of Punjab, while one belonged to Odisha.
While announcing the ex gratia from the CMRF, Naveen expressed his deepest condolences for the family of the deceased soldier and prayed for strength to the latter to bear this irreparable loss.
