Positive COVID-19 Cases In Odisha Remains 2, Says Bagchi

Bhubaneswar: Chief Spokesperson of Odisha Government's COVID-19 management team, Subroto Bagchi today said that the number of positive Coronavirus cases in Odisha was 2, as on Wednesday (March 25, 2020).

During the 10th address-cum-media-briefing from Geeta Gobinda Sadan here today, Bagchi said that so far 133 samples have been sent for testing in the State.

"As on 12 noon today, 133 samples were sent for COVID-19 examination and reports of 129 samples have been obtained. Reports of other 4 samples are pending. No new positive case has been found. Thus positive case stands at 2," said Bagchi.

The health condition of the 2 identified patients is asymptomatic and stable. They are taking normal diet supplied by respective hospitals.

It is reported that 55 persons had come in contact with the COVID-19 patient. Communication has been made with 55 persons. Total 100 monitoring teams are working for the purpose across the State, including 10 teams in Bhubaneswar.

Besides, 4,015 persons have been registered through 104 Helpline and portal. 36 persons are in Hospital Isolation, Bagchi added.
