Post By-Poll Victory, Naveen Patnaik To Visit Bijepur On March 12 For Thanksgiving

**Bhubaneswar: ** Jubilant BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has decided to visit Bijepur assembly segment in Bargarh parliamentary constituency on March 12 for expressing his gratitude and giving thanks to the voters there for reposing faith on him and his ruling party and thus making BJD candidate Rita Sahu victorious.

This was informed by newly-elected Bijepur MLA Rita Sahu today on the sidelines of BJD Mahila Morcha’s International Women’s Day celebration here.

Rita Sahu told media, “The Chief Minister is slated to visit our Bijepur constituency. He’ll grace a special function of the college there. Also discuss on the developmental issues there.”

“He’ll also thank the voters,” the newly-elected Bijepur MLA informed.

On the contrary, Odisha BJP vice-president Sameer Mohanty commented, “The Chief Minister has the full right to thank the voters.
But, certain crucial issues concerning the interests of human beings have cropped up in Bijepur assembly segment. All have been witness to the woes of the people during the by-poll campaign. For instance, fluoride problem in the water in Gaislet block. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has already written letter in this regard. The Chief Minister should look into the matter soon and pipe water should be supplied to the people there with immediate effect.”
