Berhampur: One person was killed in an incident of post-poll violence in Kendupadar village under Gangapur police limits of Aska block.
The scuffle between two rival political groups started over victory celebrations and the lighting of crackers. One Bulu Swain and his associates were attacked with sharp weapons.
Swain died of the injuries while one of his friends remains missing. The injured persons has been shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital. Gangapur police and Bhanjanagar SDPO are investigating the incident.
