Jajpur: Precious idols worth several lakh rupees were stolen from Raghunathjiu temple here on Sunday night. According to reports, the idols of Rama, Lakshman and Sita and two idols of Lord Krishna have been stolen.
The priests spotted the temple door broken in the morning and reported the matter to police. Sources said, the idols were made up of Astadhatu, very ancient and invaluable. A case has been registered in this connection, and probe initiated.
