Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has promoted three senior officers, effective January 1, 2026. IAS officer Prem Chandra Chaudhary, a 2010 batch officer currently serving as Director of Textiles, has been promoted to the Super Time Scale (Level-14) and appointed as Special Secretary to the Government.
Additionally, IAS officer Shubham Saxena, a 2013 batch officer and current Agriculture Director, has been promoted to the selection grade (Level 13) of the Pay Matrix.
IFS officer Kalunge Gorakh Waman, also a 2013 batch officer and current Director of Horticulture, has been promoted to the selection grade (Level-13) of the Pay Matrix in IFS.
The promotions were announced through separate notifications issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance department.
