Puri: All preparations are in the final stages for the inauguration of the Srimandir Parikrama Prakalpa project on January 17, informed Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena after reviewing the project at Puri on Monday.
Jena said that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other VIPs will arrive at the Parikrama project using the Sri Marg on Wednesday.
Sri Setu welcome arch will be opened for the general public on Wednesday after its inauguration, Jena added.
He said devotees from outside states will arrive today and special arrangements have been made for them.
With the start of the ‘Maha Yagna’ from today for the inauguration of the Srimandir Parikrama Prakalpa project on Wednesday, an atmosphere of spirituality prevails in the holy town with the chanting of the Vedas and mantras.
