Preparatory Phase Of Talcher Medical College To Start From Oct 2023

Bhubaneswar: The State Government has decided to operationalise the Talcher Medical College soon. According to reports, a high-level meeting was held at the Lok Seva Bhavan here today to discuss modalities of the process.

In the meeting chaired by Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Shalini Pandit, it was decided that steps would be taken to start 330 bedded hospital at Talcher from October 2023.

This would be the preparatory stage for a Medical College. The existing 100 bedded Neheru Satabdi Central Hospital of MCL at Ghantapada in Talcher would be a part of the 330 bedded hospital.
