Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu’s three-day Odisha visit began on Tuesday with her arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here.
President Murmu was welcomed by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Mayor Sulochana Das, Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, senior political leaders, and officials at the Bhubaneswar airport, from where she left for the Raj Bhavan.
The President will interact with a group of medical students sponsored by the ATUT-BANDHAN family and lay the foundation stone for a new building block of Raj Bhavan Odisha at Bhubaneswar this evening.
On 26th July 2023, the President will grace the valedictory function of the 75th-year celebrations of Odisha High Court at Cuttack. On the same day, she will address the annual function of SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, and grace the convocation of National Law University Odisha at Cuttack.
On 27th July 2023, the President will interact with the members of the particularly vulnerable tribal group PVTGs at Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.
On the same day, she will launch this year’s theme of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya “The Year of Positive Change” for conducting nationwide seminars and conferences and lay the foundation stone for its “Lighthouse Complex” at Dasabatia, Tamando in Bhubaneswar.
