Bhubaneswar: President Ram Nath Kovind greeted all fellow citizens on the festival of Easter.
In a message, the President has said, “On the auspicious occasion of Easter, I extend my best wishes and heartiest congratulations to all the fellow citizens, especially from Christian community, living in India and abroad.
“Easter is an occasion to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ that inspires us to follow the path of love, sacrifice and forgiveness. Let us learn from the life of Jesus Christ and work together for the betterment of entire humanity.”
“May this festival re-instil in us the sense of unity and reinforce our commitment to the well-being and prosperity of our nation,” Kovind added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the people on the occasion of Easter.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;
“Happy Easter! We recall the thoughts and ideals of Jesus Christ and the emphasis on social justice as well as compassion. May the spirit of joy and brotherhood be furthered in our society.”
Greeting people on the occasion, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wished love and happiness for all.
In a tweet, Naveen said;
“Warm greetings and best wishes on #Easter . May the Lord bless us with health, love, happiness and prosperity. HappyEaster.”
