Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu in the presence of Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the new ‘Abhisek Hall’ inside the Raj Bhawan premises here.
Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and several other senior officers of the state administration were present during the inauguration.
The 47,390 square feet state-of-the-art ultra-modern Abhisek Hall has been built at an expenditure of Rs 25.23 crore. The main hall has a seating capacity for 900 guests, with a capacity to accommodate 1200 persons in standing position.
Along with the main conference hall and banquet hall, there are five lounges, four entry and exits.
