Prez Murmu, PM Modi, CM Majhi Greet Odisha People On ‘Nuakhai’

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik today extended their heartiest greetings to the people of Odisha, especially farmers on the occasion of Nuakhai festival.

President Murmu extended heartiest greetings to the people of Odisha. In an X post, she stated that Nuakhai is a great agrarian festival.  This is a special occasion to express gratitude to the farming community. May this festival fill your life with happiness and prosperity, she wished.

ନୂଆଁଖାଇ ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ଦେଶବାସୀ ବିଶେଷକରି ଓଡ଼ିଶାବାସୀଙ୍କୁ ମୁଁ ହାର୍ଦ୍ଦିକ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଉଛି । ନୂଆଁଖାଇ ଆମ କୃଷିଭିତ୍ତିକ ଜନଜୀବନର ଏକ ମହାନ୍ ପର୍ବ । ଦେଶର କୃଷକ ଭାଇଭଉଣୀମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କୃତଜ୍ଞତା ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରିବାର ଏହା ଏକ ବିଶେଷ ଅବସର । ଏହି ପର୍ବ ସଭିଙ୍କ ଜୀବନକୁ ସୁଖ ସମୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ଭରିଦେଉ, ଏହା ମୋର ଆନ୍ତରିକ କାମନା ।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his hearty wishes through ‘X’.

“Nuakhai Juhar! My best wishes on the special occasion of Nuakhai. We express gratitude to our hardworking farmers and appreciate their efforts for our society. May everyone be blessed with joy and good health,” he stated.

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, who visited the western Odisha town Sambalpur and offered prayers to Maa Samalei on the occasion of Nuakhai, also greeted the farming community and prayed for their wellbeing.

Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik also extended greetings to the people of Odisha, especially western parts. Through a video message, Patnaik prayed for the happiness and prosperity of farmers.
