Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu will attend the 13th Graduation Ceremony of the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) today at 10:30 am.
President Murmu, the Chief Guest, accompanied by Governor of Odisha Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan, will grace the occasion and felicitate the students.
At the graduation ceremony, a total of 156 students will graduate, with 21 receiving MSc-PhD degrees and 70 being awarded PhD degrees.
Pranay Mohanty, a student of the Department of Chemistry, will receive a gold medal for outstanding academic performance. Additionally, 11 other students will receive medals for their contributions in different fields.
For the first time, the President of India is visiting NISER, Bhubaneswar, for which necessary security arrangements have been made.
The Additional District Magistrate, Pratap Beura, along with the institution’s administration, is supervising the smooth conduct of the event.
