Berhampur: Polasara police today arrested Bhagirathi Pradhan alias Sombaria, the prime accused in the Kalamba village youth murder case.
Pradhan was forwarded to court today. Police have also seized the sword used in the murder.
According to reports, Bikash Sahoo alias Kau was murdered over past enmity and liquor business. While family members of the deceased had named five persons in their complaint, police have been able to arrest the prime accused.
Further investigation by the police in the matter is underway.
