Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday appointed Prof Amiya Kumar Rath as the new Vice Chancellor (VC) of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT).
Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal appointed Prof Rath as the VC of BPUT for a period of five years with effect from the date he assumes office as such or until further orders, said a notification issued by the Government of Odisha.
Prof Rath is currently serving as the Advisor of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru.
He has 33 years of teaching experience and has authored nine books.
