Bhadrak: The Bhadrak district administration today clamped prohibitory orders under section 144 CrPC in Dhamnagar NAC.
Bhadrak District Collector Trilochan Majhi ordered clamping of prohibitory orders in Dhamnagar NAC from 9.30 PM today to 5 AM tomorrow.
Assembly of five persons in any place has been prohibited.
A 28-year-old youth identified as Ramesh Lenka, a BJP supporter who is from the Bazaar Sahi area was stabbed in front of booth-16 in Ward no. 9 of Dhamnagar NAC by a youth of a rival party following a spat.
While the attacker managed to flee the spot immediately, a profusely bleeding Ramesh was shifted to Bhadrak district headquarters hospital.
His condition was stated to be critical. Tension mounted in Dhamnagar following the incident.
