Bhubaneswar: The Department of School and Mass Education (S&ME) today approved Rs 10.75 crore for projects under ‘Mo School’ campaign. The fund allocation was announced at the 19th Working Committee meeting of Mo School campaign held here today.
At the meeting chaired by S&ME Department Secretary Satyabrata Sahu, total projects for 2,657 schools in 28 districts of Odisha were accorded an approval. So far, 20,000 old students of Government schools in the State have become a part of this campaign.
Sahu reviewed the ongoing projects under the campaign and directed officials to expedite and monitor the works at district and community levels. It was decided that the district-level monitoring teams will apprise Mo School authorities on the developments regularly.
Mo School Teams will be formed at district and community levels. The teams will facilitate active participation of ex-students in the ‘Mo School Abhiyan’. The old students will be asked to share a video message to motivate their younger brothers and sisters towards success.
