Bhubaneswar: With Bhubaneswar going to poll on April 29, candidates in the fray have started reaching out to voters by braving heat wave conditions which failed to deter their spirit.

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) candidate for Bhubaneswar Central Assembly seat, Anant Narayan Jena, acknowledges public support as his strength to campaign in the hot sun.

In a one-on-one interview to OMMCOM NEWS on Friday, Jena said, "I am not facing any challenge during the campaign. I was with the people earlier and am still with them. I am happy because of the public support, which shows that they will stand with me in future."

On being asked what issues he is going to address on being elected from the constituency, Jena said he will first solve the drainage related problems and secondly provide pucca house to slum dwellers.

He further said Bhubaneswar is the number one Smart City in the nation. He will work towards developing the city further to secure number one place for Odisha in the World.
