Bhubaneswar: One more person who sustained burns in the Chandan Yatra firecracker explosion incident in Puri on May 29 evening was discharged from Shree Jagannath Medical College & Hospital (SJ MCH), Puri on Monday.
According to an official press release issued by the Special Relief Commissioner, the discharged male person has been identified as Sridhar Rout (49).
The release said that so far a total of nine injured persons have been discharged from hospitals including three today.
Currently, 14 persons are undergoing treatment in different hospitals, the release added.
No further casualties have been reported today and the death toll in the incident stands at 13, the release further said.
The State government is closely monitoring the situation.
