Puri Jagannath Temple To Remain Closed For Three Hours Today

Bhubaneswar: The Jagannath Temple in Puri will remain closed for public darshan today for three hours on account of the Diba Pahuda ritual of the Holy Deities.

As per the announcement made by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), the temple will be closed from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm during this period for the performance of the sacred ritual. The Second Bhog Mandap offering will mark the beginning of the closure. Devotees are requested to plan their visit accordingly.

Taking to its X handle, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) wrote: “Today, Wednesday, the 17th December 2025, Pausha Krushna Trayodashi tithi, the Diba Pahuda of the Holy Deities will be performed. Therefore, after the completion of the Second Bhog Mandap offering, public darshan will remain temporarily suspended from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM”.
