Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday apprehended the Supervisor of Khadi Village Board Industries, O/o DIC, Puri, while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the owner of a bell metal processing unit in Puri.
Reportedly, the accused Narayan Pattnaik had demanded the said amount from the complainant for facilitating the release of subsidy amount of Rs 2,45,000 in digital mode in his favour.
The entire bribe amount has been recovered from Patnaik and further investigation against him is underway.
