The accused, Nrusimha Subuddhi (43), a resident of Gudiasahi, was apprehended red-handed while allegedly extorting money from local vendors and passersby on Bali Sahi Road near Solakhia Baragachha. Subuddhi reportedly threatened people with a country-made pistol.
