Puri: Pilgrim town Puri is all decked up for Rath Yatra which will be held amid devotees, after a long wait of two years. Following the ‘Anasara Ghara’ period when the Lords fall sick, and recover, the Nabajoubana Darshan will be held on Wednesday.
Naba Jaubana Besha Darshan is The Holy Sight of Juvenile Youth of Lord Jagannath and his siblings Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra after the illness period they spent on ‘Anasara Pindi’. After a full fortnight’s treatment with herbs, complete rest and dieting; the Lord gets back his juvenile youth and He looks as enticing as ever.
Collector Samarth Verma said that the Parimanik or paid Darshan will be held between 8 am and 9 am. After that the Sahana Mela or public darshan has been scheduled for one hour till 10 am. “We hope people have a hassle-free and devotional experience during the Darshan tomorrow.”
The entry and exit of devotees will be in the normal Singhadwar (East Gate) and Hastidwara (North Gate), added Verma.
