Bhubaneswar: Public hearings will be conducted at the State Guest House in Bhubaneswar on July 9 (Wednesday), and at the Special Circuit House in Puri on July 10 (Thursday) to gather more information and hear testimonies regarding the tragic stampede incident that occurred near the Gundicha temple in Puri on June 29.

As part of the investigation, the government has appealed to the public and organizations to share any information or evidence, including video footage, that may shed light on the circumstances leading to the incident.
The evidence can be submitted in person or via email at puritragedy.enquiry@odisha.gov.in by July 20, 2025. The Government has ordered an enquiry into the stampede incident that resulted in the death of three devotees. The enquiry is being led by Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Anu Garg.
