**Bhubaneswar: ** Sikta Mohapatra, daughter of deceased bureaucrat-turned-politician Pyarimohan Mohapatra, was appointed as secretary general of Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM), a political outfit formed by the departed leader, here on Monday.
After officially taking over the charge she said, “I’ll try to achieve my father’s unfulfilled dreams. I’ll fight for the tribals people in the state.”
She also said, “I and my father used to discuss politics a lot when he was alive. I know the people who were loyal to him and I will carry forward his legacy with them.”
Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) was founded on 10 April 2013 by Pyarimohan Mohapatra after he was expelled from BJD in 2012.
