Kendrapara: At least three school kids were injured on Wednesday when the radiator of a school mini van in which they were travelling exploded at Marshaghai in Kendrapara district.
The kids who are aged between 5-7 years are students of classes 2 & 3 of a private English medium school in Marshaghai.
According to reports, while the mini van was carrying students to school in the morning and was halfway through, all of a sudden, the radiator of the vehicle exploded.
As a result of that, two students sitting near the driver’s seat of the vehicle and one sitting behind it were injured.
Locals rushed the three injured school kids to the Government Hospital at Marshaghai.
While two of the injured students were discharged home by the doctors at the hospital after providing first aid, one is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Police have detained the driver of the school mini van and are interrogating him.
