Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Odisha in November and December this year. His visit is part of a larger program planned by the state Congress, informed Pradesh Congress Committee President Bhakta Charan Das.
According to Das, Gandhi will participate in a massive program focusing on key issues like vote theft, poverty, and women’s safety. The program will include roadshows, large gatherings, and participation in district-level events.
The visit is significant for the state Congress, which has been struggling to make a comeback since losing power over 20 years ago. The last time Congress formed a government in Odisha was in 1995.
With Rahul Gandhi’s visit, the party hopes to regain its lost ground and connect with the people.
