**Dhenkanal:** A joint team of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) officials and District Child Protection Unit today conducted raid at a children’s home run by Good News India (GNI) at Beltikiri in Dhenkanal after receiving allegations of child abuse.
While some of the inmates of the children’s home (called Dream Center) have brought sexual abuse allegations against the Director, Simanchal Naik, few others have brought allegations against the Founder, Faiz Rahman.
Meanwhile, District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) Anuradha Goswami informed that the shelter home is running without permission. Action will be taken against the accused as per law, she added.
