Raid On Three Stone Crushing Units In Balasore, One Sealed

Balasore: The local administration on Monday conducted raids on three stone crushing units in Soro block of Balasore district and sealed one for irregularities.

Reportedly, the raids were conducted by forest department officials in presence of Balasore Sub-Collector Nilu Mohapatra and Soro Tehsildar Debi Prasad Das following complaints of illegal stone crushing and transportation in the area.

While only one stone crushing unit has been sealed, the other two have been put under scanner.
