Bhubaneswar: The minimum temperatures (night temperatures) observed a marked fall at one or two places over the districts of north interior Odisha, an appreciable fall at one or two places over the districts of north Odisha and south interior Odisha, and no significant change elsewhere over the districts of Odisha, the regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here said in its midday bulletin on Tuesday.
The minimum temperatures were below normal at one or two places over the districts of Odisha, markedly above normal at one or two places, appreciably above normal at one or two places over the districts of interior Odisha, above normal at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha, above normal at many places over the districts of coastal Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 35.0°C was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 16.2°C was recorded at Keonjhar and Sundargarh in the plains of Odisha.
According to the IMD, the minimum temperature is very likely to fall by 2-3°C at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next two days, and no major change thereafter.
