Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours, the midday weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Deparatment’s (IMD’s) regional office here on Saturday said.
According to the IMD, the sky will remain partly cloudy in Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood with possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm during the next 24 hours.
The weather agency said that conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh; some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana; and some more parts of Maharashtra and Central Arabian Sea during next 2 days.
The agency added that a cyclonic circulation lies over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh & neighbourhood between 3.1 km & 4.5 km above mean sea level.
