Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershower at most places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh and at many places over the rest districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, and Nuapada during the next 24 hours, the IMD has warned.
The weather agency has issued a yellow warning for the aforementioned districts.
In its forecast for Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood, the IMD has said that the sky would be generally cloudy with one or two spells of rain or thundershower, while maximum and minimum temperature is very likely to be around 33°C and 25°C respectively.
