Bhubaneswar: Several parts of the State is very likely to witness rainfall over the next five days, till October 3. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge into northeast and adjoining eastcentral Bay of Bengal around October 1.
During the next 24 hours, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak.
Similarly, light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore, Bhadrak and at a few places over the rest of Odisha, the IMD added.
During the next 24 hours, the Capital City will witness a cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rains and thundershower. The maximum and minimum temperature of Bhubaneswar is very likely to be around 34 degrees and 25 degrees respectively.
