Dubai: The highly anticipated Ramadan Odisha Cup 2025 successfully concluded on March 29, 2025, marking a unique celebration of Eid among the Prabasi Odia community in the UAE.
According to a press statement, the tournament, organized with the aim of fostering unity and sportsmanship, was a spectacular event that brought together cricket enthusiasts from across the region.
The event was graciously sponsored by BNW ,whose unwavering support made this grand sporting spectacle possible. The tournament saw thrilling matches, passionate participation, and a grand celebration of Odia culture and brotherhood in the spirit of Ramadan.
A special note of appreciation goes to the two key organizers, Ilyas and Deepak , whose relentless efforts ensured the smooth execution of the tournament. Their dedication and commitment played a pivotal role in making the event a resounding success.
Adding prestige to the occasion were three esteemed chief guests, Sahitya Chaturvedi , Secretary-General, Indian Business and Professional council-Dubai, Dr.Deva Solanki , CEO – GBF Middle East and Chandrashekhar Bhatia, Chairman-Arab Asia Cricket League, who graced the event with their presence, encouraging players and fostering the spirit of sportsmanship.
The tournament witnessed an electrifying final match where SAM XI emerged victorious against HAMDAN CC in a thrilling contest. SAM XI scored 106/8 , while HAMDAN CC managed 84/6, making it an intense and unforgettable match. The outstanding performances of the players kept the audience on the edge of their seats, truly capturing the essence of competitive cricket.
