Puri: With Holy Trinity – Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra – enjoying their annual sojourn at the Gundicha temple, devotees had a darshan of the deities on the Adapa Mandap on Saturday.

After the darshan, they had a taste of the Mahaprasad prepared and offered to the deities here. The dishes are similar to the ones offered at the Lord Jagannath Temple.

“My heart is overwhelmed by having a darshan of the Lord, which is possible only if it is in your destiny. It is a blessing of the Lord,” said a devotee Ramesh Chandra Padhi after having a glimpse of the deities.

“I am glad to receive the first Abhada mahaprasad at the Adapa Mandap today. I am taking the bhoga to my home in Bhubaneswar to enjoy it together with my family,” said another devotee Nabajyoti Samal.
