Bhubaneswar: The Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee has released the schedule for the Suna Besha ritual of the Holy Trinity, which will take place on Wednesday on Chariots. The ceremony is a significant event which attracts lakhs of devotees from across the country.
According to the schedule, the day will begin with the Mangala Alati at 6 am, followed by the Gopal Ballav Bhog ritual at 10:30 am. The Madhyanha Dhupa will be performed between 2 pm and 3 pm, and the highlight of the day, the Suna Besha of the trinities, will take place between 5 pm and 6 pm.
Devotees will have the opportunity to witness the rare attire of the Lord until 10 PM or 11 PM. Lakhs of devotees are expected to flock to Puri to catch a glimpse of the beautiful golden attire of the deities on the chariots.
To manage the large crowds, special traffic arrangements have been made, and devotees have been asked to take a walk from Medical chhak. A barricade has been set up to facilitate the movement of devotees. The lanes and bylanes connecting Bada Danda between Medical Street and Srimandir have been sealed. These lanes and bylanes will be used to evacuate people in case of overcrowding, according to Puri SP Pinak Mishra.
The temple administration has left no stone unturned to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all devotees.
