Bhubaneswar: In preparation for the upcoming Rath Yatra 2025, the Odisha Police has introduced a WhatsApp ChatBot to assist visitors navigating through Puri. This innovative solution aims to provide real-time traffic updates, ensuring effortless navigation for devotees.
ADG Traffic Dayal Gangawar intimated that WhatsApp ChatBot will use real time live location of visitors and provide route to nearest parking places.
The Odisha Police urges all visitors, including those with two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and buses, to utilize the WhatsApp ChatBot for convenient navigation and cooperate with on-field traffic personnel for smooth traffic flow. This initiative is part of the police department’s broader efforts to leverage technology for enhanced traffic management during the Rath Yatra.
By using the WhatsApp ChatBot, devotees can have a hassle-free experience during the festival. The Odisha Police’s adoption of AI-powered technology, including drones and CCTV cameras, aims to ensure public safety and efficient crowd management.
