Bhubaneswar: The inventory of the Ratna Bhandar of Shree Jagannath Temple is set to begin by the first week of March, announced Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan. The minister stated that discussions have been held with the Chhatisha Niyog of the temple, and the date and time will be decided soon.
The managing committee and temple administration will decide the date and time according to rituals, after which the inventory will commence. Puri District Collector Divya Jyoti Parida stated that an important meeting was held to finalize the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the inventory.
The Chief Administrator of the temple has allocated responsibilities to officers, and the valuation of ornaments will be done after observing an auspicious day and time. The District Collector emphasized that the valuation issue will be discussed in the upcoming management committee meeting, and the date and auspicious time will be fixed.
