Cuttack: Ravenshaw University announced its undergraduate (UG) examination results on Monday, registering an overall pass percentage of 84.10. A total of 1,384 students appeared for the examinations across Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational streams, with 1,164 successfully qualifying.
The Arts stream recorded the highest number of examinees at 549, of which 472 passed, yielding an 85.97% success rate. In Science, 257 out of 333 candidates cleared the exams (77.17%), while Commerce saw 213 of 256 students pass (83.20%). The Vocational stream achieved the best performance, with 226 out of 246 examinees passing (90.24%).
The university also released the list of subject-wise toppers. Rosalin Rout topped Botany, while Jagnyanseni Beuria led in Chemistry. Farhat Tabasum secured first position in Commerce, and Truptishree Nandi excelled in Computer Science. Other notable toppers included Swetapushpa Samadarsini (Economics), Jyoti Prakash Rana (Education), Adyasha Panda (English), Shriya Mishra (Geography), Om Shri Vishwal (Geology), Sonalika Nayak (Hindi), Dattatreya Swain (History), Priyanka Sahu (Mathematics), Shriya Barik (Odia), Banani Bhuyan (Philosophy), Subrat Kumar Swain (Physics), Suryasnata Patra (Political Science), Jhilik Banerjee (Psychology), Pratibha Sahu (Sanskrit), Ujjwala Ray (Sociology), Shrabani Barik (Statistics), Rituparna Chaini (Zoology), Sambit Shubhankar Sahu (BBA), Sabnam Behera (IST), Tara Prasad Tripathi (ITM), Shwetalanjanli Chowdhury (Arts B.Ed), and Om Jyoti Prakash Sahu (Science B.Ed).
