Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday extended the deadline for registration of farmers for Rabi paddy collection at the mandis. Earlier, the registration period was open till March 20, and now it has been extended by seven days, state Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare, Cooperation Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Naik informed.
The minister also appealed to the farmers’ societies to take advantage of the digital registration process that will be open till March 30.
