Bhubaneswar: As on date (October 7, 2024) 1.20 crore women have registered under the Subhadra Yojana.
Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida said that registering more than one crore women beneficiaries under the epoch making Subhadra Yojana would be a big achievement. This has been proved today.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to disburse the first installment of Subhadra Yojana to more than 35 lakh women in the second phase on Wednesday (October 9) at Baripada.
Earlier, in the first phase of the government had transferred Re 1 to the accounts of eligible beneficiaries of Subhadra Yojana to test the transaction’s success and ensure that the bank accounts of beneficiaries’ are operational.
The department has, however, clarified that no such arrangement has been made for the second phase so far.
The department has urged people not to be misled by fake news circulating on social media. The department has advised to follow the official website or official social media of “Subhadra” or call the toll free number (14678) for all updated information related to “Subhadra”.
