Bhubaneswar: Following a spell of cold weather, Odisha is expected to experience a rise in nighttime temperatures, bringing relief to residents. The minimum temperature is expected to increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius over the next four days, according to the India Meteorological Department.
The regional weather department has predicted a dry spell, with no chances of rain in the next six days. The current cold wave conditions are expected to subside, and the weather will remain mainly dry.
On Thursday, the temperature dipped to 5.4 degrees Celsius in Jharsuguda, with G Udayagiri recording the lowest temperature at 5.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Phulbani and Daringbadi at 8.5 degrees Celsius. The temperatures in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar were recorded at 13.2 degrees Celsius and 14.3 degrees Celsius, respectively.
However, the weather department has warned of dense fog in Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Koraput, and Kalahandi districts on Saturday morning and night.
