Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials on Tuesday launched simultaneous house searches at the properties linked to Bidyadhar Pati, Tahsildar, Remuna in Balasore district, following the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets (DA).
The simultaneous house searches are being conducted by 6 DSPs, 3 Inspectors, 10 ASIs, and other supporting staff of Odisha Vigilance on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, at the following seven places in Bhubaneswar and Balasore:
- Flat No. C604 at Tamarin Terraces, Sailashree Vihar in Bhubaneswar.
- Flat No. B40406 (3BHK Executive) at Asotech Pride, Rudrapur in Bhubaneswar.
- A double-storeyed building located at Kuruda under Sadar police station in Balasore district.
- The paternal house of Pati at Ainri under Soro police limits in Balasore district.
- The office chamber of Bidyadhar Pati, Tahasildar, Remuna in Balasore district.
- The place of stay of Bidyadhar Pati in Balasore.
- House of a relative of Bidyadhar Pati located at Plot No.625 Mars Villa, HN-7, Panchasakha Nagar, Dumduma in Bhubaneswar.
The searches are still underway and further report is awaited.
