Bhubaneswar: Popular music director Abhijit Majumdar has been shifted to All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar due to his deteriorating health condition.
Majumdar, known for his significant contributions to Odia music, was initially admitted to a private hospital in Cuttack on Sunday. His health had taken a turn for the worse due to liver-related issues and a potassium deficiency, prompting doctors to shift him to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for advanced treatment.
Majumdar is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, where his family members remain by his side. Before his transfer to AIIMS, several notable figures from the Odia film industry, including actors Pradyumna Lenka and Sritam Das, visited him at the private hospital in Cuttack to show their support and wish him a speedy recovery.
