Revenue Inspector Caught Taking Bribe In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A Revenue Inspector (RI) has been apprehended by vigilance while accepting bribe from a person to submit a verification report in a mutation case in Barbil of Keonjhar district.

Meer Md. Khan, RI of Bileipada under Barbil Tahasil of Keonjhar was caught red-handed while accepting Rs 20,000 Complainant to submit a verification report in a Mutation Case and for issuance of ROR (Land Patta).

The entire bribe money has been recovered from the possession of the accused and seized.

Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at three locations of Meer Md Khan from DA angle.

In this connection, Balasore Vigilance registered a case under sections 7 P.C. (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Investigation is in progress against accused R.I Meer Md Khan.
