Bhubaneswar: Odisha government will set up a first-of-its-kind rice ATM in Bhubaneswar in a week.
After chairing a high-level meeting, Minister of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Krushna Chandra Patra said that the ATM will be functioning for the PDS card holders.
“The ATM will be set up in Bhubaneswar first and later the facility will be extended to all districts. The beneficiaries can insert their cards in the ATM machine and receive their monthly quota,” Patra added.
The Minister also informed that the government will procure paddy from the farmers at Rs 3100 from the next kharif season.
