Koraput: In a tragic road accident on NH 26 here today, two persons were killed and one critically injured. The mishap occurred in Jeypore when a coal-laden truck overturned on the Koraput-Jeypore highway.
Two young women were killed on the spot, while another one was seriously injured. She has been admitted to the hospital. Jeypore Sadar police and fire brigade rushed to the spot and initiated a rescue operation.
A case has been registered in this connection while efforts are on to identify the deceased.
