Bhubaneswar: Three police constables were placed on suspension following the escape of two accused persons in a case of robbery in Bolangir.
Superintendent of Police Nitin Kusalkar ordered the suspension of Constables – Satyaban Rout, Aswini Seth, and Sunil Minz, for dereliction of duty after the two accused escaped from police custody.
The accused duo was nabbed by police in connection with a dacoity case in Saintala area of Bolangir one day back, the police said. Meanwhile, a manhunt has been launched to nab the escapees.
