Robbery Gang Busted With Five Arrests In Puri, Weapons Seized

Bhubaneswar: Baseli Sahi police today busted a robbery gang as it was about to perpetrate a crime on the ground floor of a marriage mandap in Mangalaghat, Puri, as part of a significant crackdown.

In this context, police have detained five committed offenders and begun a thorough investigation.

The police station is currently investigating the history-sheeters for many crimes, including murder, snatching, and robbery. They were preparing to rob tourists and pilgrims who were visiting the pilgrim city of their belongings.

An official reported that police had taken two live bombs, two daggers, a knife, two iron rods, two torches, and several other potentially incriminating items from their possession.
