Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida today expressed her gratitude to media representatives for their role in the successful implementation of the Subhadra Yojana.
In a media interaction programme held in Bhubaneswar in support of Women and Child Development, Parida highlighted the crucial role of the media in creating public awareness about the scheme’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines. She also mentioned that the Subhadra Yojana would be further enriched through various skill training programs.
Responding to media queries, Parida assured that the government would work on the thoughtful feedback received and thanked the Women and Child Development Department officials, Anganwadi workers, and staff of Mo Seva Kendras and Jan Seva Kendras for connecting over one crore beneficiaries to the scheme in a short span.
The event, which witnessed participation of 200 senior journalists, editors, and reporters from leading media houses, was also attended by Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management Suresh Pujari. He interacted with media persons on various issues.
Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner Anu Garg addressed questions related to the Subhadra Yojana, while Director of the Women and Child Development Department Monisha Banerjee and senior officers were also present.
